Hi all, The piece of plastic with the Fiat logo on the boot badge has fallen off, not the entire fitting, just the clear plastic.

The Fiat accessories website appears to not have any Fiat Bravo 198 Mk1 Mk2 1995-2016 Vetech Battery 55Ah Electrical Replace Part available.

I would have just superglued it Fiat Bravo 198 Mk1 Mk2 1995-2016 Vetech Battery 55Ah Electrical Replace Part on, but the red background for the lettering appears to have got damaged only found out about it tonight, not going out to check it tonight!

I found one on ebay advertised as being for the Grande Punto and Panda, is it the same size badge Fiat Bravo 198 Mk1 Mk2 1995-2016 Vetech Battery 55Ah Electrical Replace Part all models?

But just to clarify, that states "for electric lock release only". Does that mean that replacement badge wouldn't function as a release mechanism for the boot? Ha, this is weird. Exactly the same thing happened to me yesterday.

I went Fiat Bravo 198 Mk1 Mk2 1995-2016 Vetech Battery 55Ah Electrical Replace Part close the boot and the clear plastic part of the badge fell off. I was going to glue it back on but the burgundy background colour had all perished and was flaking off, which would have made the repair look awful. I also asked how easy it was to fit and from his diagrams explained that it is only held on by one bolt once you have removed the plastic coverings inside the boot lid.

The bolt goes through the electrical mechanism to hold the badge in place. What frustrates me is that last summer i took my car to the dealers with ref to the front and rear badges fading. They took some pictures and never got back to me and now im out of my waranty. I will order the part next week and have a go at fitting it, will let you know how i get Fiat Bravo 198 Mk1 Mk2 1995-2016 Vetech Battery 55Ah Electrical Replace Part. Ive heard the front Fiat Bravo 198 Mk1 Mk2 1995-2016 Vetech Battery 55Ah Electrical Replace Part is a lot harder to fit as it involves removing the front bumper.

Both badges can be fitted in half an hour. Front badge, put fingers in grille, pull really hard, it pops out, with a 10mm socket remove nut, badge comes off, replace, tighten 10mm nut, replace grille. Rear badge, undo two 5mm hex bolts, pull off inner sound proof cover plastic trim using an 8mm socket undo the two nuts on the inside of Fiat Bravo 198 Mk1 Mk2 1995-2016 Vetech Battery 55Ah Electrical Replace Part, unplug electric lock cable, Fiat Talento 290 1989-1994 Vetech Battery 70Ah Electrical System Replace Part comes off, replace, tighten two 8mm nuts, reconnect electric lock cable, replace plastic trim, replace and tighten two hex bolts, job.

Stand back and admire. Kelvin Wlyubohar thanked for this post. Yep, I can confirm this job is easy. One of the first things I did to my car. Thanks, will do the front one as well if it's that easy. Hopefully lasts longer than 3 years this time! Originally Posted Fiat Bravo 198 Mk1 Mk2 1995-2016 Vetech Battery 55Ah Electrical Replace Part Gwiz.

When you say one of the first things you did to your car, do you mean removing the rear badge or replacing it? If removing it, Fiat Bravo 198 Mk1 Mk2 1995-2016 Vetech Battery 55Ah Electrical Replace Part you fill and spray it? How much Fiat Bravo 198 Mk1 Mk2 1995-2016 Vetech Battery 55Ah Electrical Replace Part it cost?

If replacing it - why did you do this when you first got the car? My car is an i've just bought it. When polishing it last weekend I noticed the rear badge looked like water had started to get in and delaminate it. I called into my local garage andthey're going to replace it under warranty, next week. The bloke that looked at it said it was the first Bravo he'd seen it Fiat Bravo 198 Mk1 Mk2 1995-2016 Vetech Battery 55Ah Electrical Replace Part too, the implecation being that he'd seen it before, just not on a Bravo.

My rear badge fell off too in the same way. Mine happened just inside of warranty thankfully. It does appear this is quite commom. I believe moisture 068 Titanium Car Battery 12V 68Ah 550A - E24, S4026, S 4026 into the badge when the badge button is pressed to open the boot instead of Fiat Bravo 198 Mk1 Mk2 1995-2016 Vetech Battery 55Ah Electrical Replace Part key.

If I remember now, especially if it is raining I use the key. It shouldnt be like this I know but make the effort and hopefully our boot badges will last a lot longer.
